What attracted you to Abacus?
After having worked in very large companies and getting lost in the numbers I was looking for a small company where I could make an impact and see the results. With Abacus, the sky would be limit (no pun intended) to what I could learn and achieve in my career.

Why have you chosen to stay at Abacus?
I love working for Dennis Yee and Bill Magro. They make you feel like you’re part of their family and there isn’t anything you can’t do or try.

Experience…
18 years at NASA Kennedy Space Center mostly in Safety Health and Mission Assurance, but I also have 12 years’ experience at the executive level in worldwide logistics.

Education…
B.S. from Purdue University and M.A. from Webster University

What excites you about your work?
It is fast paced, with short deadlines and we have a great team. I can say that I have worked with lots of teams over the years but my best team experience has been with Abacus.

How has your work and your team’s work made an impact for your client?
NASA sees Abacus as the “go to” provider for IT services as well as thought leadership. NASA seeks out our team for advice and guidance because we’re a trusted partner with the same vision, goals and core values as NASA.
I would like to learn how to do…
Sandboarding

Favorite quote…
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. – Albert Einstein (This makes me think of NASA and all the wonderful inventions created.)

My interests outside work are…
Traveling and finding low cost ways to created life time memories.

My favorite place I’ve traveled to…
It is hard to choose but I would have to Tanzania. Nothing can compare to seeing the annual migration.
