Overview: Abacus Technology is in need of a Senior Program Manager to lead and direct a managed services contract encompassing a range of IT services for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). This is a full-time position.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: Lead a large staff of Abacus and subcontractor personnel in the performance of an IT managed services contract. Exercise corporate authority to represent Abacus Technology on all programmatic, contractual, and technical matters. Direct all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single customer point of contact. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review program deliverables. Manage the integration of subcontractor tasks, and track and review assigned deliverables. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the program team. Provide daily direction and oversight of the following tasks: network support; office automation; desktop support; mobile device support; application and database development; data center virtualization or consolidation; user administration; hardware and software acquisition and maintenance; facilities maintenance; inventory control; information systems security oversight; video teleconferencing; information technology user training; human resources; and financial operations.
Qualifications: 15+ years experience including extensive experience in a program management role.Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Must have experience withmanaged services or seat management programs valued at $100M or greater. Experience working with federal, state, and/or local law enforcement agencies, preferably in a management or senior leadership position. Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, CMMI, and/or Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred. Must have a solid technical background including proven experience in hands-on technical roles throughout career. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to manage customer expectations. Experience with and knowledge of ATF strongly desired.
