U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) Commerce Acquisition for Transformational Technology Services (CATTS) Contract Award

Abacus Technology is serving as a subcontractor to NOVA-Dine under the recently awarded CATTS contract, a 10-year, $15B IDIQ vehicle supporting the DOC Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).  Our scope of work will cover the full range of enterprise IT services, solutions, and support sought by the OCIO, including CIO Support, Digital Document and Records Management, Managed Services Outsourcing and Consulting, IT Operations and Maintenance, IT Service Management, and Cybersecurity.

USDA Forest Service NRIS Task Order Awards to Improve Physical Security Systems and Provide Wireless Network Support

Abacus Technology, a leading provider of network and radio support services, proudly announces several task orders recently awarded under our U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service Network and Radio Infrastructure Support (NRIS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract. Our work on these task orders focuses on security system and wireless network support services and includes:

  • Migration of the local Lenel system to the USDA Enterprise Physical Access Control System (ePACS) at the National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment (NLAE) in Ames, IA.
  • Development of technical scope and requirements, with the potential of implementing necessary upgrades, to the existing video surveillance and intrusion detection systems at the Center for Grain and Animal Health Research (CGAHR) in Manhattan, KS.
  • Installation of HSPD-12 Security System at the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) facility in Raleigh, NC, including the installation of cameras and a physical access control system.
  • Installation of Wireless Access Points (WAPs) and integration into the virtual local area network (VLAN) at the USDA Forest Service Cleveland National Forest Supervisor’s Office in San Diego, CA.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation 2 (T4NG2) Contract Award

Abacus Technology is serving as subcontractor to Zetta Solutions, LLC, on their recently awarded 10-year T4NG2 contract with a ceiling value of about $60B. T4NG2 is designed to overhaul information technology for VA organizations, including planning and management, software, hardware, engineering, design, cybersecurity and support for the Department’s global enterprise network. Abacus Technology’s primary support will be for Software/Systems Engineering.

Abacus Teamed on Two Significant NASA Contract Awards

NASA Communications Services (NCS) Contract

Abacus is serving as a major subcontractor on the PCI Productions Team selected to manage communication services and enable the widest dissemination of NASA information for all agency centers, including headquarters, as well as its mission directorates. Work to be performed consists of strategic communications planning and integration; stakeholder and public engagement; media relations; library and archive services; and FOIA request support.

NCS is a firm fixed price contract with an IDIQ ordering mechanism for obtaining additional services via task orders. It has a five-year performance period beginning June 1, 2023 and a potential total value of approximately $218 million.

Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) Contract

Abacus is a key teaming partner of the Rothe / ARES Joint Venture (ROAR) that was awarded eMITS to support NASA’s Chief Information Officer and Office of Communications across all agency centers, facilities, and headquarters. The scope of work covers information technology and information management, customer collaboration, and multimedia communications services including television production, social media, and digital exhibits.

eMITS is a hybrid contract with cost plus award fee core services and IDIQ task orders (on either a cost plus or firm fixed price basis). The total estimated value is about $814 million over a period of performance beginning August 1, 2023 and extending through January 31, 2032 if all options are exercised.

BLITS-3.0 Hanscom AFB IT Services

Abacus Technology Corporation is providing Base Level Information Technology Services (BLITS) at Hanscom AFB for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) as a subcontractor to Centuria Corporation.  The Centuria Team was selected for its knowledge and expertise in securing, supporting, and sustaining information systems; supporting mission success through effective and efficient service delivery; and sustaining infrastructure and capabilities for Department of Defense and other Federal Government clients.

High-Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services-Restricted 2 (HITS-R2) Contract Award

Abacus Technology will be serving as a subcontractor to Bowhead Total Enterprise Solutions under the recently awarded HITS-R2 contract, a five-year $249M IDIQ supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Our scope of work covers system engineering, integration, and operation functions in support of the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). We will also be supplying systems security support to assess next-generation network devices and network architectures and assist with resolving any identified cybersecurity threats or vulnerabilities.

2022

Abacus Technology, under our USAFE Command Surgeon Healthcare Information Management/Information Technology Support Services contract, played a critical role on the cybersecurity team that assisted the RAF Lakenheath Medical Community of Interest (MED-COI) network enclave in achieving its first ever full Authority to Operate (ATO) certification. The cybersecurity efforts of Abacus’ team members directly ensured the continuing confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the Medical Information Systems (MIS) and the Electronic Health Record Systems (eHRs) used by medics in the delivery of patient care across the United Kingdom. Many thanks to our key staff who were a big part of this significant accomplishment – from left to right: Kevin Blount, Marlon Lebron-Soto, William Seymore, Harold Hermance.

The 66th Air Base Group at Hanscom AFB, MA put on an Air Force Ball at the Marriott Burlington Hotel on September 16th to celebrate the US Air Force’s 75th Birthday. Abacus was recognized at the Ball as one of only a few Government contractors that both sponsored and attended the event. Ken Bell and Greg Handy, accompanied by their “significant others,” represented Abacus at this entertaining evening with excellent food and dancing in the ballroom.

  • Ken is a Systems Interoperability and Integration SME who retired as a Lt Col after 20 years of serving in the Air Force.
  • Greg is a Cybersecurity Engineer who spent 28 years in the National Guard and on Active Duty, including a tour in the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization, before retiring as a Lt Col.

Abacus Technology Awarded Healthcare Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Contract by US Air Force

Abacus Technology will be assisting Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Command Surgeon (HQ-USAFE-AFAFRICA/SG) optimize Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) across all USAFE Military Treatment Facilities and medical activities. Our scope of work covers healthcare program management as well as network design and administration, desktop computer services, and web-based IT support throughout the European Theater, with primary sites located in Germany, Italy, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. This single-award task order, awarded through the Air Force NETCENTS 2 NetOps Contract Vehicle, will be completed over a three-year period.

2021

Information Technology Support Technicians for the 22nd Communications Squadron,  McConnell AFB, KS

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a three-year task order supporting the 22nd Communications Squadron (Air Mobility Command) at McConnell AFB, KS.  This Task Order was awarded under the Abacus, Air Force NETCENTS-2 Small Business Contract.  The purpose of this Task Order is to support the Base’s classified & unclassified network enclaves.  The Information Technology Technicians will provide help desk support for the system users; monitoring access & functionality of various software/hardware programs.

Abacus Technology Awarded US Space Force Task Order for Visual Requirements View (VRV) Applications Support

Abacus Technology Corporation received a task order with a 3-year ordering period from the US Space Force under our Air Force NETCENTS-2 NETOPS & Infrastructure Solutions Small Business Contract. Work will be performed on behalf of the Space and Missile Command (SMC) for its Enterprise Corp Product Support Launch and Test Range Systems (ECPL) at Patrick Space Force Base, FL (Space Force Eastern Range) and Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA (Space Force Western Range). The scope of work focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise business processes using VRV applications. Information Technology Services also consist of network administration/sustainment, software development/maintenance, application/software training, and audio/visual support.

US Military Training Mission (USMTM) – Communications and Technology Services (CITS) Contract Award

Abacus Technology Corporation was awarded a five-year follow-on contract to our earlier Saudi Peace Program Network (SPPN) and Eskan Village Communications & Information Technology Support (EV-CITS) Contracts.  Abacus has been supporting USMTM Information Technology & Telecom efforts in Saudi Arabia since 2010.  This new contract will continue to provide the United States Military Training Mission and other U.S. Forces in Saudi Arabia with secure, reliable data and voice communications O&M Services.

Abacus Technology Awarded Support Communications and IT Maintenance Contract for U.S. Air Force Bases in Europe 

Abacus Technology Corporation received a U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Task Order for Enterprise Legacy Voice and Information System Services (ELVIS II) under our Air Force NETCENTS-2 NETOPS and Infrastructure Solutions Small Business Contract.  Services during the three-year period of performance cover communications operations & information technology maintenance support at designated U.S. Air Force Bases & Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Sites in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey.  The primary focus of this contract is the support of DoD legacy network equipment and its integration with new network technologies.  The Task Order oversees the management of communication circuits through Technical Control Facilities; Local Area Networks; Audio/Visual Equipment; and Telecom Services (to include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Legacy Telephone Systems).

2020

C4IM Sustainment Services for Mid-Atlantic Regional Network Enterprise Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground (RNEC-Aberdeen), MD 

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a five-year task order contract for Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Information Management (C4IM) enterprise management services by the U.S. Army Material Command, under the Army’s Information Management Communications Services (IMCS III) Contract. This large task order includes a variety of C4IM Services, such as: network and switch operations; system administration; systems integration and testing; configuration management (hardware & software); end-user support and training; telecom support; and information assurance and network security services.  Work will be performed at the Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, Edgewood Area and several off-site installations that are part of APG proper – supporting more than 20,000 military and civilian employees responsible for providing technical improvements across a broad spectrum of military capabilities.

Global Hawk Support – Surveillance and Reconnaissance for Special Operations Forces

Abacus Technology Corporation is providing Advisory and Assistance Services to the US Air Force Material Command as a subcontractor to DCS Corporation under a GSA OASIS Pool 6 Contract. This 5-year task order supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate’s Global Hawk Division under the Air Force’s EPASS program.  Abacus’ work efforts under this task order contract cover acquisition, engineering, and administrative support services.

Abacus Technology Re-appraised at Level 3 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC)

The appraisal, which remains valid through September 2023, demonstrates Abacus’ commitment to continuous process improvement and successful transition to CMMI V2.0. We are now one of only nine companies in the US having a Maturity Level 3 appraisal for both Software Development and Services (DEV+SVC) consistent with this latest version of CMMI practice areas and standards.

Abacus Technology Awarded Base Communications and Information Technology Services (BCITS II) Task Order

Abacus Technology Corporation received an Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) task order award for BCITS II support at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN under our Air Force NETCENTS-2, NETOPS and Infrastructure Solutions Small Business Contract. Services during the four-year period of performance will cover all aspects of base communications, plans, and operations. These support functions include: program integration and management, communications focal point, cybersecurity, IT asset management (hardware and software), communications maintenance, network infrastructure and operations, server/system administration, and knowledge management.  In addition to Arnold AFB, this work will be performed at the Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel located in White Oak, MD and the National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex at Moffett Field, CA.

Infrastructure Support Services for the 480th ISRW

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a five-year task order supporting the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480 ISRW) operations and missions under its Air Force NETCENTS-2 Small Business Contract. The scope of work focuses on information technology infrastructure services for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) which processes actionable military intelligence and disseminates it to multiple combatant and national command authorities worldwide on a 24×7 basis. Primary support location is Joint Base Langley – Eustis, VA. This is the second task order that Abacus Technology has received from the 480th ISRW in the past several months.

Information Support Services for 20th Air Force

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a four-year task order supporting 20th Air Force located at F.E. Warren AFB, WY (Air Force Global Strike Command) under its Air Force NETCENTS-2 Small Business Contract.  The purpose of this task order is to support Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) systems and other administrative networks & IT systems.  20th Air Force primary mission is supporting Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Operations for the Air Force and the National Command Authority.

DCGS SUPPORT SERVICES FOR 480 ISRW

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a five-year task order supporting various 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480 ISRW) operations and missions under its Air Force NETCENTS-2 Small Business contract. The scope of work focuses on information technology, cyber, and server administration services for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) which processes actionable military intelligence and disseminates it to multiple combatant and national command authorities worldwide on a 24×7 basis. Primary support locations are at Joint Base Langley – Eustis, VA and Beale AFB, CA. 

IT SUSTAINMENT SUPPORT FOR AFCENT/A2

Abacus Technology Corporation has been awarded a five-year firm-fixed-price contract for Information Technology Sustainment Support (ITSS) services by the US Air Force Central Command, Directorate of Intelligence, Intelligence Systems Branch (AFCENT/A2). Work will be performed at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar; Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates; and Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Headquarters Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia is the contracting activity overseeing efforts to provide IT sustainment, design, operations, and maintenance services for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) assets in support of the AFCENT mission.

EPASS MOBILITY/TANKER/EXECUTIVE AIRLIFT SUPPORT

Abacus Technology Corporation is providing Advisory and Assistance Services to the US Air Force Material Command (Air Force Life Cycle Management Center) as a subcontractor to COLSA under a GSA OASIS Pool 6 – Task Order. This large, 5-year contract supports USAF Mobility and Training Aircraft fleets, the new Presidential Airlift Recapitalization (PAR) program, and the Executive Airlift fleet as well as the entire Tanker fleet (including the new KC-46 aircraft). Our work under this task order contract coves acquisition, engineering, and professional services to include programmatic, life cycle sustainment, financial management, and security support across a wide array of engineering disciplines.

2019

ABACUS AWARDED TWO CONTRACTS IN SUPPORT OF THE AIR NATIONAL GUARD (ANG)

The following task orders were awarded through our U.S. Air Force NETCENTS II Network Operations Small Business Contract:

  • ANG Cyber Enterprise Systems Engineering Technical Support (SETS). Abacus is providing systems engineering and management services at Air National Guard HQ; Andrews AFB, MD; and McConnell AFB, KS; as well as other key ANG locations. We are supporting sustainment and modernization efforts to keep ANG’s portion of the Air Force Network (AFNet) secure and cyber compliant.
  • ANG Cyber Configuration Management (CM) Services. Abacus is providing CM services at 18 ANG locations nationwide. This day-to-day operational support ensures that the cyber configuration of intelligent mission systems remain fully up-to-date.

AIR FORCE OFFICE OF SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS

Abacus Technology Corporation has received a 5-year contract to provide Information Technology (IT) support services to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Abacus will deliver enterprise IT solutions, from Service Desk and O&M, supporting new system engineering projects at AFOSI HQ and operating locations worldwide. Abacus secured the award through a task order issued under its US Air Force NETCENTS II Network Operations Small Business contract vehicle.

NETCENTS II COLUMBUS AFB BNTS

Abacus Technology was awarded a task order under our NETCENTS II contract by the U.S. Air Force’s 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus AFB, MS. Abacus will provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for the Base Network and Telephone System (BNTS) to ensure 24×7 uptime. This unique contract combines Base Telecommunications and IT Network Control Center services that covers: wired and wireless communications systems; data center operations; cybersecurity/information assurance; inside/outside cable plant; Voice Over Internet Protocol; IT Service Management of DoDIN; Base Information Transport Infrastructure; DISN node administration; and software license and configuration management.

USAFE A&AS

Abacus Technology Corporation is supporting the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) on its Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) IV contract as a subcontractor to ValidaTek, Inc., one of three teams awarded this four-year, $95 million IDIQ vehicle. The USAFE A&AS IV contract provides users with a wide range of professional management, engineering, technical and analytical services to support a multitude of mission areas. Work scope covers critical program planning, policy development, decision making, administrative process improvement, and training functions.

2018

RESPONSIVE STRATEGIC SOURCING FOR SERVICES (RS3)

Abacus Technology Corporation has been selected as a Phase 2 Prime Contractor for the US Army’s Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Contract.  The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), is administering the RS3 contract with its $37.4B ceiling and 10-year ordering period (a 5-year base and a 5-year option).  It represents the consolidation and replacement of other major Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicles expiring over the next 1-2 years to include: Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R2-3G); Strategic Services Sourcing (S3); Technical, Administrative and Operations Support Services (TAOSS); Technical Information Engineering Services (TIES); and parts of Warrior Enabling Broad Sensors (WEBS).

This contract award demonstrates the Army community’s confidence in Abacus Technology’s continued ability to successfully deliver superior worldwide technical and program management solutions in response to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) mission requirements. Our core competencies perfectly match the full RS3 work scope, spanning professional Engineering, Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Logistics, Acquisition and Strategic Planning, and Education and Training support services.

NETCENTS II SMALL BUSINESS NETOPS

Schriever AFB, CO – Abacus is installing a Base Telephone System in support of the 10,000 personnel executing the 50th Space Wing’s mission to deliver precision navigation and timing and secure satellite communications. As part of this effort, we are responsible for the operations and maintenance of inside and outside plant infrastructure as well as both Time-division Multiplex and VoIP telephone switching systems on behalf of various tenant organizations to include the Space Innovation and Development Center, the Missile Defense Agency’s Joint National Integration Center, and the 310th Space Group.

McConnell AFB, KS – Abacus is providing Medical Information Systems Support Technicians (MISST) Services for the 22nd Medical Group and 22nd Air Refueling Wing.  Our support covers the operation and maintenance of networks, servers, and desktop computers and printers used to access and update patient medical records for an eligible population of more than 11,000 active duty and retired military personnel and their families.

Shaw AFB, SC – Abacus is performing engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) support for single mode, fiber optic cable from Building 1899 to Building 1601 on the base complex. This Missile Defense Agency communications system effort involves terminating equipment to connect existing and new maintenance hole/conduit system components to the end building.

Lackland AFB, TX – Abacus is managing an infrastructure project to design, engineer, and install a 150 endpoint SIPRNET network parallel to the existing network in Building 1 Bay 7 at the Lackland Kelly Annex.  As part of this installation upgrade, we are responsible for the cutover and testing of all circuits.

STRATCOM AV O&M

Abacus Technology Corporation has received a 5-year contract to manage, operate, and maintain USSTRATCOM’s Audio Visual (AV) systems and provide high quality and highly reliable capabilities to USSTRATCOM customers. This one-of-a-kind AV support system, installed in USSTRATCOM’s newly built Command and Control facility at Offutt AFB, will provide centralized and enhanced UNCLASSIFIED and TOP SECRET/SCI collaboration capabilities throughout the Command. These enhanced AV capabilities will improve the USSTRATCOM population’s ability to organize, collect, and distribute critical information – a tremendous leap forward in situational awareness, mission efficiency, and effectiveness. Abacus secured the award through a task order issued under its US Air Force NETCENTS II Network Operations Small Business contract vehicle.

 

AFRL ITSS

Abacus Technology was awarded a subcontract by Decypher to provide the full range of IT services in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s operational missions at Wright Patterson AFB over the next five years. Our customer support services span the areas of application development, configuration management, network planning and implementation, systems integration, server administration, multimedia/VTC, and cyber security.

On our Information Management and Communication Support (IMCS) contract at Kennedy Space Center, 15 Abacus Technology employees have actively served as members of a Volunteer Council since its formation in July 2014. The Council’s charter is to participate in community outreach events and demonstrate a caring, giving spirit in support of those in need. Through the Volunteer Council’s efforts, Abacus’ IMCS workforce has positively impacted the lives of many by making contributions (i.e., monetary donations, supplies, “sweat equity”) totaling more than $235,000!! A representative sampling of organizations supported over the past 3 ½ years includes: Brevard County charities, schools, women’s and senior centers, and boys and girls clubs; Wounded Warriors and other Veterans agencies; and local groups such as the SPCA, Archaeologists for Autism, the Florida Bat Conservatory, and Space Coast Honor Flight.

NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL-INTELLIGENCE AGENCY – EMERALD PROGRAM

Abacus is supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) EMERALD program as a subcontractor to S2 Analytical Solutions, a veteran-owned small business. This contract provides total life-cycle acquisition management, strategic financial management, and strategic business management support services across the entire NGA enterprise. S2 was one of six small businesses awarded this five-year contract that has a maximum award of $849 million.


ABACUS PARTICIPATES IN ALAMO ACE CONFERENCE

Abacus Technology proudly announces that it has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC). Abacus is proud to announce our receipt of two Omni awards in 2016 for documentaries produced for NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The Omni Awards recognize outstanding achievements worldwide in art and technology as expressed through film, web, and mobile media. Abacus won a Silver Omni for Hangar S, a documentary on Cape Canaveral’s historic hangar that was crucial to NASA’s early human spaceflights. EIA RECOGNIZES ABACUS FOR ITS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Abacus is honored to receive an Energy Information Administration (EIA) Recognition Coin for its work on the newly-established Densified Biomass Fuel Report (Form EIA-63C). The report, a new EIA survey launched in January 2016, gathers information on wood pellet and other densified biomass fuel production, sales, and inventory levels from pellet fuel manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. The EIA Recognition Coin is awarded to recognize outstanding performance and unique achievements that contribute to the mission and effectiveness of EIA.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER NAMES ABACUS SMALL BUSINESS PRIME CONTRACTOR OF YEAR

Port Canaveral, FL — Abacus Technology is proud to be named by NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) as its Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year for 2016. This is the fourth time Abacus has received such recognition since we began supporting KSC in 2008. It is a true testament of the dedication Abacus employees have for accomplishing NASA’s mission.

The award announcement was made during the NASA/KSC Business Opportunities Expo on October 25th. As KSC’s Information Management and Communications Support contractor, Abacus provides software application development and sustainment services; data center operations services; IT security services; voice, data, and imaging communications services; and comprehensive multimedia products and services. NASA considers Abacus’s service performance on the IMCS contract as “excellent”. This award specifically recognized Abacus for its contract reformation work which implemented new contracting and service delivery approaches that significantly reduced costs to NASA. This advancement occurred while continuing to develop robust, cost-effective, and flexible solutions to meet KSC’s evolving needs as well as exceeding baseline requirements in systems security and remote monitoring.

The annual Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year award recipient is selected based on the company’s performance by operating on schedule and within budget, exhibiting responsiveness to contractual requirements, providing innovative solutions to problems and issues, and maximizing involvement of other small businesses. Abacus was awarded a task order to provide comprehensive base telecommunications operations and maintenance support services to Dyess AFB, TX under its NETCENTS-2 Small Business contract. This award covers the full range of cable plant and wireless infrastructure O&M in support of the Air Force’s unified communications initiatives.

Energy Information Administration – EIA Omnibus Procurement IV (EOP IV)

Abacus is pleased to announce its continuing support to transform EIA business processes and IT systems. As a subcontractor to Z Inc., this IDIQ award enables Abacus to help advance EIA technology initiatives over the next five years.

US Army – Network Enterprise Center, Detroit Arsenal (NEC-DA)

Abacus was awarded a significant task order to provide world-class communication support services to the Detroit Arsenal under its Information Management Communication Services III (IMCS III) contract. This award covers a full-range of Administrative Telephone Services (ATS) and Information Technology (IT) support consisting of wired telecommunications, voice, video, and data services, as well as cable plant and wireless infrastructure O&M to advance unified communications initiatives for NEC-DA customers.

ABACUS RECEIVES ISO 27001:2013 CERTIFICATION FOR INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Abacus Technology recently received ISO 27001: 2013 certification, reconfirming the company’s commitment to delivering the highest level of information security. By obtaining this certification, Abacus proves that it has implemented best-in-class Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) that can secure its data and that of its customers and partners.

ISO 27001:2013 is the latest version of the internationally recognized standard for information security management systems. The ISO 27001 standard mandates specific management processes that must be in place to control risks to information systems. Organizations that meet the standard demonstrate to customers that it can manages systems, operations, and data in a secure manner.

To become certified, a company must implement the mandated controls and undergo a formal audit that confirms that they are compliant with the requirements set forth by the standard.

ABACUS CONTINUES ITS WINNING WAYS

US Army – Aberdeen Information Technology Support Services (AITSS)

Abacus, as a subcontractor to Future Research Corporation, is providing AITSS assistance to the Army’s Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. We are responsible for supplying network information assurance and remote desktop support.

US Military Training Mission (USMTM) – Eskan Village Communications and Information Technology Support (EV CITS)

Abacus was successfully awarded a competitive follow-on to our legacy Saudi Peace Program Network (SPPN) contract which has been ongoing since 2010. As such, we are continuing to supply USMTM and the Eskan Village user community in Saudi Arabia with secure, reliable data and voice communications O&M services.

NASA Johnson Space Center – Communications, Outreach, Multimedia, and Information Technology (COMIT)

Abacus is supporting the COMIT contract as a major subcontractor to MORI Associates. Our core functional area of support covers Multimedia which includes delivery of digital imaging and photography, video teleconferencing, and audio-visual services. We are also performing systems engineering as part of the institutional IT function at the Center.

Abacus is supplying BCITS support for the Arnold Engineering and Development Center (AEDC) , as a major subcontractor to OBXtek. Our core service areas include data center, asset management, and high performance computing support.

Abacus, as a subcontractor to PAE, is providing IT services at both the Stennis Space Center, MS and Michoud Assembly Facility, LA. We are responsible for software engineering support as well as application systems O&M.
